Zorlu Energy signs agreement with Israeli company for another turnkey delivery power station.
A letter of intent concerning contracts governing cogeneration plants in Israel that are to be constructed by Zorlu Industrial & Powerplants Construction and operated and maintained by Zorlu O&M Powerplants Operations and Maintenance Services for a twenty-year period was signed on Tuesday 11 October 2005 at a ceremony held at the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources.
Under the turnkey delivery power station project to be undertaken in Israel by Zorlu Industrial & Powerplants Construction, a member of the Zorlu Energy Group, the Company will be providing contractor services that will generate USD 100 million in revenues.
Zorlu O&M Powerplants Operations and Maintenance Services, another group company, will be responsible for the long-term operation and maintenance of the facilities under a 20-year agreement. With the addition of these operation and maintenance services, the total value of the project will reach more than USD 200 million. |
