Chartered on 25 April 1999 and named after Mehmet Zorlu, the father of Zorlu Group co-chairmen Ahmet Zorlu and Zeki Zorlu, Mehmet Zorlu Vakfı (The Mehmet Zorlu Education, Health, Culture, and Mutual Assistance Foundation) is a family-owned charitable foundation.

The objectives of the Mehmet Zorlu Foundation are to:

Support successful young people who have the ability to contribute something both to our own country and to the whole world in the name of humanity but lack the material means to pursue their studies
Support the organizations that nurture them for us
Lead the way in organizing activities that will assist their ongoing development.
