Operating under one of the five main fields of activity of Zorlu Holding, Mining and Metallurgy, and being Turkey's first , Europe’s unique nickel-cobalt concentrate plant, Meta Nickel brings the "raw material of the future" nickel and cobalt to the economy with an high added value and different forms; and endeavours to make nickel mining an innovative business area.
Proud to be among the world's top 10 facilities, Meta Nickel aims to create Turkey's new generation R&D base in mining, adding value through R&D and innovation.
Meta Nickel focuses on producing innovative products using technology of metallurgy and chemistry rather than mining activity. Meta Nickel works to produce all the machines and equipments in its production with its own technologies and to contribute to the contraction of current account defict of Turkey.

Aiming to become a global player in nickel and cobalt, the most imporant elements in battery technologies, Meta Nickel strides confidently into the future with enthusiasm, as a contributor to one of Turkey's most important projects, the Domestic Automobile Project.
Within this target, 500 thousand electric vehicles will be supplied with batteries, thanks to a 5 thousand MW capacity battery plant to be commissioned in 2023.
In accordance with the sustainable development goals, Meta Nickel believes that institutions, as well as individuals, bear the responsibility of 'citizenship' and focus on adding value to the environment at every step towards the future.
In this regard, tit undertakes many social responsibility projects such as "Çiçekli-2 Pond", "Celal Bayar University Gördes Vocational School Construction", "Balıkesir Provincial National Afforestation Mobilization" and "Tavşani Afforestation", giving more than 100 children and youngsters scholarships.
