Sustainable Production Certificates
Having adopted a sustainability-oriented production philosophy in all business processes with a focus on the nature, people, and innovation, Zorluteks’ resource saving efforts have enabled the company to join Inditex Join Life in 2020 and become one of the rare few home linen manufacturers on the platform able to use the Care for Fiber and Care for Water on its product tags.
OXIPRO Project
Zorluteks is the only textile manufacturer to join the OXIPRO project, which aims to develop ecological enzymes in place of various chemicals used in the production processes of today, and in doing so, reduce resource consumption, pollution, and the use of harmful chemicals.
RECLAIM Project
RECLAIM is the first Zorluteks project to be admitted in Horizon 2020, and intends to develop solutions for environmental challenges by embracing the principles of circular economy, including extending the service life of machinery, equipment, and material, and preventing unnecessary use of resources.
ZERO BRINE
Zorluteks aims to achieve a significant reduction in its water consumption through the ZERO BRINE project being developed by TUBITAK Marmara Research Center, Environment and Environment and Cleaner Production Institute.
GECO
Zorlu Energy has Turkey’s largest, and the world’s fourth-largest GPP in its portfolio, and enjoys an industry-leading position with 305 MW of domestic installed capacity, made possible by its GECO project.
SMART AND CONNECTED PRODUCTS
We focus on building smart devices, smart homes, smart cities and business models based on revenue-sharing around them. Voice recognition technologies were disseminated through Vestel products. Owners of Vestel products with wireless communication technology can manage their products with the “Evin Aklı” (Home Smart) application, while users can set bill limits through the application with the smart billing feature added to the software of internal and external units of Vestel air conditioners and the mobile application. In this way, the application enables users to save energy.
DAYLIGHT TECHNOLOGY PRODUCTS
Vestel’s “Daylight” technology provides consumers with a high level of hygiene in refrigerators, dishwashers, washing machines, tumble dryers and air-conditioners. The products manufactured with this technology, which is based on the natural protective nature of clean air fed by sunlight, increase the air quality at the points of contact and protect consumers against harmful organisms.
PRODUCTS AND SERVICES PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES
Vestel ensures equal and full participation of visually impaired persons in social life through its collaboration with Blindlook, a 100% voice-oriented application. Thanks to the audio world developed by Blindlook, visually impaired persons can meet all their needs and benefit from all services and products integrated into the application with Audio Simulation technology. With this inclusive service, Vestel has become one of the brands holding the EyeBrand Certificate. In 2021, in order to support visually impaired persons’ access to technology, voice command features were added to the Vestel “Evin Aklı” App, allowing the transmission of all movements on the phone to the consumer by voice.
