As Vestel undergoes a restructuring in line with its strategy of establishing itself in Turkey’s hinterland countries under its own trademark, Levent Hatay has been made a member of the Executive Committee Responsible for Branding in Russia, the Community of Independent States, and the Middle East. The position of general manager of Vestel Durable Goods Marketing vacated by Mr Hatay’s reassignment will be taken over by Assistant General Manager for Consumer Services and Operations Timur Tuncer.

Turkey’s technology giant Vestel has reorganized its organizational structure within the framework of its strategy of establishing itself in neighboring countries in its own time zone under its own trademark.

Levent Hatay, who has been general manager of Vestel Durable Goods Marketing since 1999, has been made a member of the Executive Committee Responsible for Branding in Russia, the Community of Independent States (Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan), and the Middle East (Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Cyprus). The general manager position vacated by Mr Hatay will be taken over by Timur Tuncer, who recently carried out the successful reorganization of 700 Vestel customer service points all over Turkey. As a member of the executive committee, Mr Hatay will be focusing on structuring marketing, sales, and service activities in Russia, CIS countries, and the Middle East.
