One of the leading actors of the independent production companies in the sector, Zorlu Energy Group has a total installed capacity of 745 MW with a portfolio of 5 natural gas power plants, 7 hydroelectric power plants, 1 geothermal power plant, 1 wind power plant and 1 fuel-oil power plant.
Besides electricity generation and trade, the Group also carries out natural gas trading and distribution activities. The Group successfully undertakes natural gas distribution activities in Thrace and Gaziantep regions.
Zorlu Energy Group, aiming to become a regional player, also seeks opportunities in markets in Europe, Asia and the Middle East, where the demand for energy is growing rapidly and liberalization efforts are gaining momentum.
