Net Zero Emissions

We use renewable energy sources for a carbon-neutral growth across the entire value chain in an effort to achieve “net zero emissions” by ensuring that operational emissions do not harm people and the environment, and that products are designed not to generate greenhouse gas emissions during use.

As the climate crisis grows, economies become fragile and vulnerable communities are the most affected. Our group companies and stakeholders also feel the devastating effects of the climate crisis, albeit differently.

In response to these, at Zorlu Group companies, which operate across a wide spectrum ranging from energy to textiles, consumer electronics to mining and real estate, we adopt regenerative business models. We are guided by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals as we manage the effects of the climate crisis.

We aim to achieve growth in Scope 1 and 2 by 2030, and across the entire value chain (Scope 1,2,3) by 2050 with net zero emissions.

We are committed to designing our products in all our industries in a way that does not cause greenhouse gas emissions during use.

We aim to eliminate fossil fuels from natural sources used as inputs for the business model and operations, to ensure the transition to renewable energy sources, to prevent greenhouse gas emissions during the design phase of products, and to drive energy efficiency.
